As I reflect on the past two years of the MFA I realize that although it seemed like a wind storm, it was actually a life changing experience. I believe that I have come out of the Documentary Media program with a greater sense of direction and focus. I initially embarked on this journey wanting to discover my heritage by visiting my parents birth places, but through the process of realizing that my heritage can be represent in my own 'back yard' I begun to explore Toronto as a vessel for cultural diversity.
