Golden Years is a short documentary portrait of the Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant in Golden Lake, Ontario. Tommy, Jack and their wives Florence and Claire have taken over a small town Chinese restaurant in the later stages of their life. They’re not trying to make a lot of money, rather they want to live a leisure lifestyle. Small towns come with their own charm and different sets of cultural negotiations.
